About us

We are an artisan food company using locally sourced quality ingredients in our cooking and baking. We use natural ingredients, free-range eggs, real butter, and organic produce where possible.

It’s all about the food at The Gourmet Parlour, and that’s the way it’s been for over 30 years. We (Annette Burke and Catherine Farrell) are both Ballymaloe-trained chefs and we’re passionate about making everything from scratch. We use top-quality ingredients but no additives or preservatives. We’re true artisans, we make the pastry and chop the onions, even the apples are peeled by hand, and you can really taste the difference. Our happy onsite kitchen is the pulsing heart where our chefs and bakers prepare fresh food every day just for you.

Call into The Gourmet Parlour Bakery and Deli on Bridge Street to pick up coffee, lunch, or dinner, or sit down in comfort at our Collooney Café and Deli (just off the N4 roundabout). The menus are seasonal and specials change daily. Have a chat with us if you have an event coming up. We’ll give you advice and take the stress out of communions, confirmations and birthday bashes. Pick up or delivery available – whatever suits you best.

It’s the best of traditional cooking with a contemporary twist, so everyone in the family is happy.

We’re proud of our celebration cakes which are famous all over the county. We love when the ‘children’ we made birthday cakes for, order wedding cakes and then Communion cakes for their own kids. You can’t beat a quality cake made with real butter and free-range eggs. We make our own preserves and lemon curd too.

We’re happiest when we see our customers enjoying our food and we’ll always go that extra mile to ensure they do. You can trust us with your tastebuds.
